San Francisco Girls weekend
The Weekend before my 24th birthday I decided to invite myself and Shannon to Stevee’s place for the weekend! I got to SF on Friday night around 8:00, got ready and went out with Stevee and some of her friends. The next day we went to a cycle class, then went for a walk at the marina. Stevee lives with in a block of the marina, it was wonderful to take a walk with her and enjoy the sunshine. As we were enjoying the views and sunshine we received a phone call from Shannon saying that she was almost there, so we rushed back to the apartment and started to get ready. Shannon showed up around 12:00 and we were all hungry. We had lunch at this great café and had frozen yogurt later in the day (if you know the three of us we could never say “no” to frozen yogurt). We decided that it would just be nice to walk around and enjoy the sun since it was such a beautiful weekend. Of course we had to fit some shopping in, ha ha ha… the three of us got matching white sweatshirts, I know it is dorky but we all loved it and once the white is not so white we are going to tye dye them! We ended our day by having sushi, which was wonderful. I love trying new sushi places! When we got back to Stevee’s she showed us the views from her rooftop while enjoying a drink. We took a cab and headed to a club, I thought I was going to die in the cab, the driver was a mad man. The club had an outdoor bar that was on the rooftop, there were some amazing views! The next morning we had crepes and went for another walk along the marina before heading on our own ways.
I thought SF was so interesting, I love how everything is within walking distance, and it made me Miss Chico. I used to love walking to class or going for a run in Bidwell Park. If I could change one thing about the area I live in now, it would be not having to drive so much, I feel like everything is ½ hour away, it reminds me of Humboldt in that way.
